Akari Sakura

I noticed the name "Jewelpet" on webite I go to for my anime that doesn't have an official dub (or if I need a specific episode for screenshot drawing reference) and it piqued my interest (A magical girl series from Sanrio? YES, PLEASE!), but when I finally had the chance to watch something new I learned that what I was seeing on the front page wasn't the first season. I had to backtrack a little, but after a tiny bit of searching I learned the first season was Jewelpet Tinkle. It took a bit more searching and another website, but after finding a reliable source I dove right in and that is where I met Akari. (kind of a shame she only seems to be there for the first season, but I guess the focus IS the Jewelpets...)

I was originally going to draw her with Ruby and Labra, but I wound up getting busy. You'll also have to excuse how bad the Jewel Charms look right now, but I couldn't really see what they were supposed to look like very well from the image I was drawing from, but I'll add the smaller details if/when I color this. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the drawing came out and it cleaned up nicely.
