I know it's old news by now, but... BLACK MOON ARC CONFIRMED FOR SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL!!!

The poster was revealed some time ago and, based on her appearance, it looks like we will get the transition from Black Lady right into Chibiusa's first henshin like in the manga. Because of that, I actually wanted to DRAW the scene of Chibiusa's first henshin, but just decided to go with drawing her from the poster instead. I'll draw the henshin scene when it actually happen in Crystal.

OH! and to add more relevance to drawing dear Chibi Moon, Chibiusa recently made her debut in the official sub re-release on Hulu.

As for the drawing itself... I'm satisfied with the results, but it DOES look different from the poster... I just can't seem to get the hang of even attempting to mimic this new art style.. *SIGH!* (but then again, I wasn't all that good with mimicking the style from the old anime, either...) I'm also just a little bummed out that I couldn't quite fit all of her hair onto the page, either...
