''Stage...On!''

Less that 15 days until OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire!

I've been seeing plenty of art of the new contest outfit for the female trainer floating around, and I've been wanting to draw it for myself ever since (I would KILL to do a cosplay of it...), and since Constests are Ruby's thing I simply HAD to include the male as well. I was hoping that Halloween would be my opportunity, but another Pokemon-related piece got in to way, so I put it off.

Going into this.... there were a LOT of elements I was afraid of for both Ruby and Sapphire. (Ruby's pose, the copious amount of black, Sapphire's dress, the copious amount of ruffles...) but in the end... I'm actually pretty happy with the results. Ruby's hair is about the only thing I'm still not the happiest with, but I did what I could considering how difficult it is to find a reference of his manga counterpart without his hat.

 Pokemon and all of its creatures/characters, including Ruby and Sapphire are (c) Satoshi Tajiri, Nintendo, Game Freak and all other respective owners may have missed/not be aware of. The Pokemon Adventures Manga was written by Hidenori Kusaka and published by ViZ media. I do not own the character in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
